Im new

Hi. My name is Brendan. I'm 5' 10", 155 pounds, 21, and looking to buy a used 250 to get around campus (I'm at University of California, San Diego) and to get to work. There are a few reasons I'm looking to get a motorcycle. They get great gas mileage, they can park closer at our school to the classrooms and the dorm where I live, the cost of a parking permit is a third the cost of a cars permit, and they are fun. I have a little bit of experience riding dirt bikes and small motor bikes. My first issue is gas mileage and price, then I am looking for comfort, usability, and style. I have read quite a few of the articles here and decided to join to get more out of the site.
