2009 Suzuki SFV650 Gladius

I picked up a Suzuki SFV650 Gladius on May 26 2009 and rode it 26 mile home in the rain.
OEM tire has less than 15 miles on them, but surprisingly the grips were decent for the wet pavement.

I have since removed the exhaust tailpipe, side plastic panels and stock mirrors.

I mounted sheepskin seat pad, GPS power cord/mount, SAE power outlet and plan to change the handlebar to a Cafe Racer type for a more forward leaning riding position. The upright riding position is making the lack of seat padding a serious problem for comfort on extended rides.

I like the look of it naked .

I was looking at the Gladius at the shop a few weeks ago.. Nice looking bike.

I just want to make it out of this life alive...

What are you running for

What are you running for exhaust now? You're not just running open headers are you?

The cat is still on the bike, that is where most of the sound damping occur; without the tail pipe the bike loose about 5-6 lb. of dead weight, it sounds like a Ducati, especially when engine braking is enguaged.
