Holy chit!!!!!!! Man that was
Holy chit!!!!!!! Man that was just ridiculous!!!! Daaaaang! to be able to hold yourself up with sheer strength and control that strength to counter balance/steer the bike enough to keep vertical... we shall call him Mr. Amazing.

I like when he gets back on the thing . .. he is shaking his head like he is just thinking "Man, that was embarrassing, I'll never live this one down . . ." LoL

I have tried to use old music for my stupid videos that no one has thought of for 30 years and they yank it. You would think some of these folks would see the value of publicity that comes for free.

Still blows my mind. I preach stay calm . .this dude lives it! Just an amazing save, luck and all . .this kind of luck only surfaces when great skill is on the surface to begin with . . .(-;
I cant for the life of me understand why they would pull the links . . this will make him a household name . .

Luck, skill, determination, and leather
I think you're right in that this type of luck does surface when there is that much skill underneath it, but somehow I also think that those skills wouldn't have been called upon had he found himself unlucky enough to have been flung off the bike instead of being able to hold on to the bars. I'm thinking of all the other highlights of racers in a similar situation who weren't able to save it at all because they couldn't hold on to the bars. It looked at first as though he was going to lowside, then highside. Sometimes these things happen so fast that it's hard for the human brain to comprehend what is going on in time to save it.
Once he got through that and managed to hold on, it was a matter of him believing in his own skills and having the determination to save it. This is important because no amount of skill in the world would have saved it if he didn't believe that he was capable of doing so. That said, he is a highly talented individual, and has probably honed his skills through repeated practice. He was able to call upon those skills in an instant when he truly needed them.
Oh, and don't underestimate the role his riding gear played in his saving it. If he was wearing jeans and sneakers, I'd bet he'd want to let go of the bars as quickly as possible instead of being dragged along for as long as he did.
Gear aside . .LoL Talk about

I cant speak for anyone or everyone . . but have you ever trained for an event to the point that when it happened . .it was like slow motion surreal? Where your body "did" while your mind tried to catch up?
I have been in that place a time or two in my life. Serious times to be sure. Waking up from it is not always pleasant . . .but without that auto pilot . .you just would not have the opportunity to wake up.
I would call what he had a "wobble". Very few people recover from that. When I was young . .any bike traveling over 100 was risking a "death wobble". (-;
Yea . .some luck was in what this vid shows . .a lot in fact. That does not remove his cool head and reaction. Credit & respect earned and given as far as I am concerned. He did not get tossed, and he did not waste the gift and opportunity to recover.

That's just nuts!
Here are some other pretty impressive saves:
Here's the real winner:
In the first video, after he
In the first video, after he saves it, he hangs his head. He's either upset that he lost some time or he's thanking god that he didn't go flying. I suspect it's the latter.

ummm on that last one....I am surprised he didn't limp back to the trailer...that left leg didn't look....sound

That's what blows my mind!
At one point the guy is upside-down and in front of the bars!
O.O
That last video... incredible!
