I don't see Chrysler as a functional company five years from now, but Ford is still up and running, and GM in some form or other will be around for quite a while. With any luck they'll still be making cars here too.

We saved the Lansing plants today, and most of the Flint plants. Looks like Flint Engine North is closing, but I honestly don't what what they make. It was part of a larger facility that was closed and leveled years ago. And it looks like Hamtramck was saved, which in spite of a lot of analyst griping is actually a bright spot for GM.

Ford . . I have great hopes for Ford. If they can hold it together, they will be the only company free to be free! Could be a great opportunity.

I had to laugh when I saw that thing. Actually, I think I see something like a generator or battery pack on the back rack for powering the camera. Perhaps that balances out the weight over the front?
