You're a brave man... I drove
You're a brave man... I drove down to Miami several times and it's a nightmare how bad a lot of drivers are. I almost got my rental rear ended 10x's in 2 days and not once did I stop short.
I hate Miami too! LOL
Oh man, you have no idea. lol
Oh man, you have no idea. lol And god forbid you blow a horn or flip someone off . . road wars are instantly on. (-; I have seen guns pointed my way at least a dozen times over the years in this place. (-;
Now I just pretend all cars are wind blown and unpredictably moving, if not even noisy traffic cones and try to miss them all. Lol So much less stress that way!
I want to make a move now . .but so much is happening so fast with this new administration that will have harsh & far reaching effects on the economy . .I am just not sure weather to zig or zag. Sales ya know . . Soon I hope . . my goal right now is in the next two years.

A few years
To shake out before you know which way things will blow. Not related to this administration though. That crap all started in the previous administration (and the one before that). You might not have seen it, but my wife is in banking, so the news about the bank failures in 2008 had our complete and undivided attention. And we saw the housing bubble bursting a couple years before it hit national news. The automotive issues? That's been the last decade, as we watched factory after factory close or lay people off.
It's been murder, watching the governor make press releases about bringing in a hundred or a thousand new jobs, only to have GM make an announcement right after that they were letting a couple thousand people go.
And unfortunately, while it would be nice to blame the incumbents, at least here in Michigan they're the best game in town. Our governor's last opposition for the job lost largely because he owned one of the businesses that was shipping jobs overseas. He talked a good talk, but as he was talking about the prosperity he was going to bring us he was actively undermining our chances of achieving it.
LoL . .I would say it started
LoL . .I would say it started closer to 1913 . . (-; But THAT is a whole different conversation. ((-;
What they ARE doing is making RADICAL changes VERY fast. All of which will have very high cost and tax implications . . very high spending with money even the administration says we simply do not have . .inflation is right around the corner . . . these things are as sure in the laws of economics as is the law of gravity.
I am not sure how old you are . .but if you were in the job market in the late 70's and early 80's . . there were "challenges". (-; My current livelihood depends on a lively housing market. Age and experience tells me this is not the bottom of it. This is a one two punch . .and punch two is going to be the inflation. We will have a small recovery before we really see the magnitude of the fall. This time the "bubble" is "printed money" . . and it will burst as did the others. But this time it wont be a single segment of privet industry or two, it will be the whole deal going down. We are in for a long run in this down turn I think. I hope I am wrong . . no one wins if I am right, that's for sure.
So in sales . .what do I sell? Not homes, cars, appliances . . . that's the point. This is shifting and changing so quickly it is hard to pick my next move. Sadly . . the truth is if I can find it, the worst of times have opportunities hidden in them . . the trick is spotting those opportunities. And for me to make a big move, I have to "on commission" hit the ground running and be able to pay rent, buy food, etc . . fellow sales people will attest . .takes a bit to build a territory. Quite the challenge in hard times.
