Yea, unlike me & my stupid little vids, he is a real instructor, and he started this as a real service. His stuff actually has a real value. LoL He is a little corny, but his basic information is sound and well presented, and for folks who are learning, so far he is free. I think at some point he will put a professional production together for sale. (I would if i was him) But for now it is a good resource.

Well, since I think that your videos aren't supposed to be "edu-info-tainment" they work just fine. :)

And he may be a little corny but he plays it well and it is better than the dry videos that we got to fall asleep to in drivers' ed when I was a teen. (and we wonder why the roads are filled with bad drivers- do you remember your driver's ed class? My first, literally first, time driving, they took me out in rush hour traffic through one of the busiest intersections in town; I am still annoyed about this xx years later. :) )

I LOVED the vid's in drivers ed back when i was a kid. That was long before they figured you had to be PC, sensitive and they were afraid of upsetting the poor little children. LoL They had all the coolest blood and gore crash movies of accidents, and the people all messed up in the cars. All real stuff. It was great stuff! LoL

Yea, I was sick then to . .I looked forward to those flicks. ((-;

You had all the luck. Blood and gore I can deal with. We had these wretched old "driving simulators" that weren't acutally hooked up to anything that we were forced to sit in while they subjected us to the scratchy dark videos where we were supposed to pick out the obstacles and navigate through them. I tried, I really did, honest. But there are just some things....

They are probably still forcing unsuspecting 15 year-olds to endure that. :)

Just a heads up, Captain Crash released a DVD version of his videos on May 1st. You can order it on his website howzitdonecrash.com. I ordered one just waiting on the mail. I really like his vids and wanted to support his productions.

...mostly because I think the Cap'n is doing great things for all the beginning riders out there and wanted to support him. I'd already seen the videos when they were on YouTube. I can't really tell if anything's been added, but it's definitely worth having for people who haven't seen them since the full vids aren't up anymore.

Yea, well "rider coach" and "big bucks" are not two ideas that tend to come up in the same conversation. (-; Takes a real love to devote the time. Cant fault the man for wanting to . . . well buy food, gas for the tank and all that "glutinous stuff". LoL I wish him great success!

Forgot about this post. I received the DVD a few days after ordering it. It contains all of the vids from his Youtube series in there original long form. It's nice having them in DVD format and the quality is great. I was kind of hoping for some extras (maybe some outtakes or bloopers or something). All in all it's a great bunch of videos and you can learn a lot from watching them. Even my kids enjoy them and my 8 year old son has even applied some of the tips to his bicycle riding and actually made his own "cone weave" in the driveway. That was pretty cool. If you like Crash's vids at all I'd recommend the DVD even if you've already watched all the YouTube stuff it's a great way to show some support for future vids.

I was wondering who Captain Crash. He's got great stuff and I will be ordering a video just cos I know I need more practice! Sweet!
