Old newbie just starting
Hi gang, I'm a brand new rider, just finished the MSF, gathering gear, and will soon get my M1, then start shopping for bikes. I'm one of those "well over 40" new riders, and may buy a bmw dual-sport 650 for occasional cross-bridge commuting, and mostly for recreational errands, fun rides. For now, cruisers and sport bikes aren't in my immediate future. Happy New Year !

And welcome! grats on passing MSF... unless your state allows graduationg the MSF as a condition to by pass the riding portion... might want to get the permit first....then ride your bike for a lil while and get used to it... other then that.....have fun!
