What’s up everyone. I was lurking on this site for months and now would like to be an active contributing member (what all lurkers should do!) I live in the SF Bay Area right between SF and SJ. I had some Motorcycle experiance about 15 years ago with a honda 125 dirt bike……Its been a while. With Gas prices getting worse and my desire for a new hobby I started looking into bike riding. This is one of the first sites i found……..IT IS GREAT! I have learned so many invaluable things from here and am gratefull for the creater (Donation coming soon!)
I take the field section of the MSF class on Thursday and Friday this week, passed the written with 100%!
I hope to be able to meet some of the local guys and develope a good group of riders from all skill levels so we can help eachother develope and grow as riders. I am on the eternal hunt for the new Ninja 250… I have a deposit at Golden Gate cycles for black, but they won’t give me a firm price and say “around5k’, However, Bike world has 2 blue and quoted about $4,800 OTD. wait (however long?) and get the color i want for a questionable price, or get blue today and have a buddy paint it……..HHHHMmmmmmmm I’m all wrapped up over this. And just to top it off, at Golden Gate Cycles i put down 500 to be “first on the list” to find out a bike came in yesterday and went’ to someone else!!!!!!!!!!! They checked their records and someone was ahead…..I hate feeling lied to. Any advise pith in!
My other hobbies are customer trucks. I am part of a world wide custom truck club, AcrophobiA. This has been my obsession for the past 4 years. If riding is anything like trucks I plan to have some great experiances with many great people!

01 Ford Ranger, front end conversion, bagged, body dropped, powdercoated frame, raised fenders, ragtop, 13″ cobra brakes, 20’s sheetmetal bed…..you name it it’s done other than some bodywork, interior and paint!
