Starting over again

I'l be buying a new Ninja 250R soon and have a couple of questions. Is it cool to get comfortable riding befor getting your endorsment? How does someone get some "road time" without getting a ticket for not being endorsed?
I don't have any friends that ride, I know I can take a local class for new riders, but really don't want to spend the money when I've had riding exspierance, I just need some wheel time.

Post an ad on craiglist and see if anyone that lives near ya wants to go ride.
I'm sure someone will respond.

Take the MSF class.

I'd strongly recommend that you take either the MSF beginner or experienced rider course or similar anyway.

A bike and helmet are supplied for the basic rider course; you need your own for the experienced rider one.

You may have had experience with riding, but how long ago. You say you want to go at it again. Do it properly and take the MSF course. If and when you buy your new bike you are going to need gear. Most shops give a pretty good discount for people who present them with a MSF course pass.

Do it right or don't do it all. Things get wild on the road and that is not the place to start learning.
