Seems you and I are on the same page. Folks should know what the laws are in the states they are traveling through. Colorado has a limited "lights on" law. Wyoming has a solid "lights on law". High "ape hangers" are allowed in Colorado but not in most of the states surrounding us. This site will tell you all of that stuff.

Thanks for the post .. I live in PA but most likely will frequent DE and MD alot ... its nice to know whats required
